Welcome to… Welcome Back!
Welcome Back Re-entry was formed by toServe Ministry to show the love of Christ to all newly released ex-offenders, especially the ones in Erath, Hood, Palo Pinto, Parker, Stephens, and Wise County.
We meet with men and women at the District Parole office for these counties during their mandatory TDCJ orientation after they are released. Welcome Back Re-entry Program provides resource booklets, by county so the individual has a reliable list of organizations, ministries, and missions in their area to help them with things such as clothing, food, housing, employment, medical/mental health, and education. The booklet also lists Churches that welcome these men and women to visit and get involved in a local community Church body. Every listing in our resource booklet has been personally visited by one of our members to ensure they can serve the unique needs of our clients.
After orientation, one of our member mentors follows up with those who express an interest, to offer encouragement, guidance, and resource solutions as they are getting reestablished.
Our mentor program mission is to foster successful integration back into society. One-on-one mentoring is available to anyone who commits to the hard work it take to become a productive member of society.
